Ingredients
  

  • 12-15 heart-shaped waffles homemade or frozen
  • 8-10 strips bacon cooked crispy
  • 4 eggs scrambled and kept warm
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced into hearts
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup Valentine sprinkles
  • ½ cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • whipped cream for serving
  • maple syrup for serving

  • Small serving bowls

Method
 

  1. Prepare fruit by washing and drying completely. Slice strawberries into heart shapes.
  2. Cook bacon until crispy, about 15 minutes at 400°F. Keep warm.
  3. Make waffles according to your recipe or heat frozen waffles. Keep warm in 200°F oven.
  4. Scramble eggs and keep warm until ready to assemble.
  5. Fill small bowls with chocolate hazelnut spread, whipped cream, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and sprinkles.
  6. Arrange bowls around the edges of your serving board.
  7. Place waffles down the center in a slightly overlapping pattern.
  8. Add scrambled eggs to a small skillet on the board, pile bacon in one corner.
  9. Fill remaining spaces with fresh berries, clustering by color.
  10. Serve immediately while waffles and eggs are warm.
